Football Canada has added a new element to the delivery of its National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP)
Football Canada has launched, an online (e-learning) component to augment its NCCP Community Sport - Initiation Tackle Football “Novice Coach” training program.
Football Canada’s NCCP Novice Coach Program is a program that has been approved by the Coaching Association of Canada. It is designed to provide new coaches with fundamental, practical and ethical coaching instruction in an experiential and interactive setting.
The online (e-learning) program is easy to follow, can be completed on the coaches own time and at his/her convenience. It will prepare each coach candidate for an informative and practical workshop on the basics elements of coaching young, novice and inexperienced football players.
Beginning April 1, 2010 all coaches who wish to attend a NCCP “Novice Coach” training workshop will be required to complete the online (e-learning) program before attending a provincially sanctioned and delivered Novice Coach Workshop.
